Immigration & Foreign Workers

Overview

The tourism and hospitality industry in Saskatchewan plays a crucial role in the province’s economy, employing over 100,000 individuals and significantly impacting local communities across the region. While the industry has shown resilience in the wake of COVID-19, a workforce shortage remains a persistent challenge, exacerbated by an aging domestic labor force and limited economic investment in the province.

Recognizing the importance of foreign talent, government initiatives are focusing on streamlining the immigration process. At HR Concierge, we are dedicated to helping businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors access global talent through a range of programs and resources. Message to Employers

The Canadian immigration process can be complex and at times confusing, with numerous pathways for individuals to enter the country. Since each foreign worker’s situation is unique, a customized approach is necessary to determine the best immigration pathway. Employers are strongly encouraged to consult the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) and SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program), and it is highly recommended to seek advice from a licensed immigration professional in Saskatchewan. This ensures expert guidance on each specific case, helping to navigate the process in a way that best meets the needs of both the foreign worker and your business.
