All tourism and hospitality employers in Saskatchewan, no matter the size, must have an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program in place that meets the requirements prescribed by the Saskatchewan Employment Act (the Act) and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020 (the Regulations).

The Small Employer Safety Evaluation Tool is designed for organizations with 10 or fewer employees who are implementing or enhancing a safety management system. If your organization is pursuing HSLC and has 10 or fewer employees, completing the Small Employer Safety Evaluation Tool is required. If your organization is pursuing HSLC and has 10 or more employees, completing a Safety Evaluation with a Service Hospitality Advisor is required.
